If You Dump Masqueraded Spam To A majordomo@:  That Is Stupid !
   majordomo@ is one of the best known mail list robots, its address 
   often faked as sender by spammers. Your robot complaining to
   a majordomo@ robot would shows stupidity or incompetence.

Why Spammers Masquerade, Particularly As This Author:
  - My & other addresses were stored on the net, long before spammers 
    trawling for addresses to spam to, & fake masquerade from.
  - I run many mail lists, & am an organiser of several clubs,
    numerous members of which are, like most people, only half
    competent, catch viruses elsewhere, which harvest my & other
    innocent addresses from their mail archives, & export to spammer
    lists. (Not via my servers!).

Do Not Tell Me I Sent You A Spam Or Virus - You Are Wrong !

  Spammers & Virus spreaders frequently masquerade as others.

  I & my computers send no spam or viruses, nor are they infested,
  but that doesn't stop scum masquerading as me, (or you too, sooner
  or later).

  Some swine spammed a load of people in my name in June 2004 with
  sociological views that were Not mine.  There's nothing to stop
  someone spamming in your name too. Realise fake masquerading
  happens. Learn to detect it, & to examine headers carefully
  before reporting it.

  Complaints from automatic responders eg: "you sent a virus or
  spam", gets deleted unseen by my filter, they're Always wrong in
  my case, & a complete waste of my time.

  Some spammers doubtless broadcast "You sent a spam/ virus" just
  to harvest addresses of live responders.

  I don't have time or interest to waste with spammers, viruses,
  & virally infested Microsoft users, relayers, & incompetents,
  so my mail filter just discards all such rubbish.

  If you use virally endangered software & proprietary unpublished
  formats etc from convicted & fined monopolist Microsoft,

  It's incompetent users with infested insecure inferior binary
  only commercial software, surepticiously taken over by spammers
  & used as spam relays, that are helping choke the Internet
  with spam. Some incompetent net users are so arrogantly stupid
  as to sometimes persist in pushing views such as "A tax per email
  sent would discourage spam" - That & other ideas just announces
  how ignorant such net users are. They themselves are the reason
  the Internet is so abused. Laws don't protect much, (especially
  in a trans national Internet). Security protects. & they
  themselves, the incompetent users, are the insecure base the
  spammers often exploit to infest & burden the net.
