8.0-RELEASE has no src/etc/defaults/pccard.conf 

Jordan's camera, he put the Compact Flash from camera into a PIX0
pcmcia adapter (single slot height) bought for DM29 (in schiller,
across from seemuller & 2 shops or so away from hauptbahnhof so
presumably ComPu) that was then plugged into into my laptop, with
