I have put in: Aug 11  13:00 mk to check in flight
BUT It will Only remind me on FRIDAY ! Not Saturday & Sunday !

It is not supposed to work the way you want !  It does not work at
weekends !  Presumably it was written by someone who only worked
Mon-Fri, & didnt get email on a mobile or home device at weekends,
& didnt fly places, probably a staff member at Bell Labs 30 or 40
years ago, when Unix started :-)

I have made a note in

I or someone else could add a flag to ignore weekends, treat them
as normal days for scheduling.
