defined formats, fully
automatically generated &
updated with BSD Unix tools eg
`make' etc).
- Try viewing PDF

- Some of the most competent Unix
employers seeking good staff,
automatically discard applicants
foolish enough to apply in MS Word
format.
- Experienced Unix Consultants are
averse to advertising themselves with
the taint of Word .Doc usage: Clueless,
Incompetent, Vulnerable, Microsoft
Addicted.
- .Doc formatted resumes are
indicative of employers, agents, &
applicants not specialised in
Unix.
- Using .Doc is a dis-advantage: It
drags down those wanting & offering
serious in depth Unix experience into a
morass of those who've just `Done a bit
of Unix' or want to pay for just a
cheap junior with little Unix
experience.
- Personnel / HR may be addicted to
viral Word, but they adminster
permanent positions, not contract
jobs.
- Agents wanting Word .Doc are Not
Unix recruitment specialists, else
they'd know better.
- Purchasing/ Contract departments
sometimes want Word, (some even being
clueless enough to put it in contracts
for Unix projects), but they are
answerable to Technical Project Leader
with budgets to selects
consultants.
- My allegiance is to Technical
Project Leaders, they invariably
appreciate quality, & publicly
defined open standard formats, &
are not enamoured of Microsoft's
monopolist proprietary bloated viral
formats.

- Ahnungloser vermittler Firma, nicht in Unix spezialisiert,

verpflichtung zu viral Produkt/ Format ihres Konkurrent MicroSoft
(gestraft bei EU wegen Monopoly).
- Nicht bester Vermittler, Unix skill am hoechstens zu schaetzen, kaufen &
weiter zu verkaufen.

one of one or a few people you'r putting forward,
(& the client will then want to see my original
resume, not some form), .... Or you'r just harvesting
masses of resumes, (in which case it's not time / cost
effective for me). |
